Thai spicy lemon shrimp (appetizer low-fat version):
Ingredients (about 2 servings):
- 250g shrimp
- Half an onion (about 250g)
- Coriander
- Ginger, garlic, and chili peppers
- Small tomatoes
- 2 lemons (sliced + juiced)
Sauce Ingredients:
- 40g soy sauce
- 7g oyster sauce
- 10g sesame oil
- 10g chili oil
- Vinegar/Peppercorn Oil 6g
- 1.5g honey
practice:
- Shell the shrimps, cook them in cold water, then remove from the shells and rinse with ice water for later use.
- Cut the ingredients and put them in a large bowl. Pour in the shrimp and all the sauces. Add lemon juice and mix well.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes for a more flavorful finish. If you like sourness, squeeze more lemon juice!
It’s refreshing, sour and spicy and is great for removing greasiness. It’s great with vermicelli or as a cold dish!
