Serving Suggestions

How to make braised beef brisket:
Ingredients: 500g beef brisket, 1 onion, 1 piece of ginger
Sauces: cooking wine, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, soybean sauce
Aniseed: 1 piece of cinnamon, 2 star anise, 3 bay leaves, 4 dried chilies, 5 grams of Sichuan peppercorns (free)
Seasoning: 5 rock candies, fresh pine mushrooms
Side dishes: potatoes or carrots, whatever you have at home

practice:
1. Cut the beef into pieces. If you have time to blanch it, you won’t have time to wash off the blood.
2. Heat the pan with oil, add the aniseed bag and green onion and ginger into the pan.
3. Pour in the beef and stir-fry until slightly yellow.
4. Add 1 spoon each of cooking wine, dark soy sauce, and oyster sauce; 2 spoons each of light soy sauce and soybean paste, and 5 pieces of rock sugar
5. Add boiling water and simmer for 40 minutes
6. Add side dishes and simmer for another 20 minutes
7. Cook over high heat until the sauce thickens, add 1 spoonful of fresh Matsutake mushroom and start eating!
If you use an electric rice cooker, skip steps 1, 2, and 3. Pour the beef into the rice cooker, select the rice or soup function, and then follow steps 4, 5, 6, and 7 to complete the recipe.
